Comparison between the Ultra version and the low-end version.

The Ultra Premium version uses imported birch wood from the Siberian Plateau in Russia. This birch grows slowly in a consistently cold environment, resulting in fewer knots and more uniform grain. The pressed wood shell is thus more attractive and has a higher load-bearing capacity, making it resistant to deformation and cracking. Our wood shell is pressed with 8 layers of veneer, whereas even the original HM company product is made with only 7 layers of compressed board.

The top part is our Ultra Premium version, and the bottom part is the low-end version. The low-end versions on the market, priced around $1,000, typically fall into this category. Although these two versions of the chair look the same on the outside, each specific component is different. The raw materials for the compressed veneer are different; the low-end version uses eucalyptus wood from Southeast Asia, which is not as strong and attractive as Russian birch. The connection methods are also different: the low-end version uses Velcro, while the Ultra version uses steel clips, maintaining a double-sided finish consistent with the original. The backing materials differ as well; the high-end version uses silicone with no chemical components, whereas the low-end version uses the cheapest non-woven fabric, resulting in significant differences in durability and environmental friendliness.

The right side is our Ultra Premium version, and the left side is the low-end version. The low-end versions on the market, typically priced around $1,000, usually fall into this category. Their raw materials are different; the low-end version uses eucalyptus wood from Southeast Asia, which has more knots and is heavier. In contrast, the Ultra Premium version has a thinner, sturdier wood shell with fewer knots and a uniform, naturally attractive color. Additionally, our Ultra Premium version is made with 8 layers of compressed veneer, while almost all other sellers, including HM company, use only 7 layers.

The Ultra Premium version uses whole hides imported from Italy and features full grain aniline leather. In contrast, products priced below $1,000 use top grain leather. Additionally, some sellers, aiming for lower costs, offer replicas priced between $600-800 on large e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Wayfair. These replicas use "genuine leather," which is made from smaller scraps of leather that are cut and reprocessed with chemical adhesives. This type of leather is prone to cracking and has a strong odor. Therefore, our Ultra Premium version uses the most luxurious Italian leather and is priced accordingly.

About product warranty — Our Imus lounge chair comes with a five-year warranty. The warranty covers the breakage of the chair's metal hardware and the cracking of wooden components. Scratches and pet damage on the leather from normal use are not covered by the warranty.

Assembly is simple. We provide clear and detailed assembly videos and instructions. If you encounter any issues during the assembly process, please contact us, and we will respond within 3 hours. You can refer to the video at the following link: https://youtu.be/KoQpdLysGs4, Assembly Tips: When assembling the armrests, first install the screws closest to the chair's backrest. Tighten them halfway before installing the screws at the front. This allows for some adjustment space between the two screws. When assembling the chair's metal base, there are a total of four screws. The first three screws should be kept slightly loose to allow the base to move freely. Once all four screws are inserted into the nuts, tighten them all completely. It's best to have two people assemble the chair together for faster and easier assembly. Avoid using electric tools for tightening screws, as their high torque can easily strip the screws. Use the provided T-shaped hex key instead.

Our chair comes in two separate packages, shipped from California and New Jersey. The arrival times of the two packages may not coincide, with a time difference of 1-3 days. Our outer packaging boxes have undergone rigorous testing, including drop tests, and our package damage rate during transportation is only 0.5%. The chair has five layers of protection. If you need to return the product, you must retain the original packaging and protective layers. Without the original packaging, the chair will undoubtedly be damaged when we receive it.

Many customers have commented that our chair's packaging is bulletproof level. It takes twenty minutes just to open the box and take out all the parts. Our hardware is securely fixed inside the box with custom foam, ensuring that they do not move or shift, and arrive in perfect condition.

I haven't seen a real one in person, but this one makes me feel like I don't need to. High quality leather that's already survived multiple run snatch and grabs from my aerobatic kitten with surprisingly little damage. We haven't bought much nice furniture with how little regard the animals in the house have for the finer things, but the price and value received makes the inevitable damage a little more palatable. Easy enough to assemble by myself for 90% of it with simple instructions, and a bit of help from my wife on the arms of the chair.

Very comfortable and breaking in nicely, and looks fantastic in my home office. Buy with confidence.

I don’t usually write reviews, but as I often make use of them myself as a guide in my online shopping decision-making process, I thought it only fair to include some potentially helpful info when shopping for an Eames replica chair on this site.
I ordered the tall version of the Sim ash chair with Nappa full grain upholstery in milk white.
First, the positives:
The chair arrived in two boxes and was very well packaged in a way that would make damage during transport extremely unlikely. The upper part of the chair (I never opened second box containing the base) looks for the most part extremely well made. The value for money appears excellent, the wood and leather parts and craftsmanship seem to be of good quality.
Now, the negatives:
Unfortunately, while the ash white back of the chair was true to color and gorgeous, the ‘milk white’ was not so close, it was more of a darker off white. Rather than an off-white, the color is a deep cream/vanilla. This didn’t really match our monochromatic living room decore which prompted me to inquire into an exchange for another chair.
Correspondence was not so bad even with the time difference with China.
I always received a response, even if not immediately and I got very some help in my quest to find an alternative chair that might be a better fit for us.
After reading Jennifer’s review, I decided to exchange the chair for the CKTY308, but then I was informed that if I ordered that particular chair and returned the Sim ashwhite (return fee: $200), I would not be able to return the CKTY308 if it didn’t work out.
I decided to return the chair and the return process took a week. I was informed that someone needed to be home by 2pm on the day of FedEx pick up, so I cleared my whole morning for it. However, that day didn't work out and we rescheduled delivery for Monday as no one was able to be home on Friday.

Overall, it's a great product with high-quality craftsmanship and good value for money. Customer service was good in this scenario, but it could be better. The most important thing is to be careful with the colors on the website and refer to the colors in review photos, which I believe are a more accurate color match. If I had realized this initially, we would have ordered the CKTY308, which I strongly suspect is closer to the shade we wanted. We ended up switching to CTKY308, which is a very nice white leather. All in all, it still looks great in our monochromatic living room.

This is not only my favorite chair, but it is probably the highest quality piece of furniture I have ever purchased. Attention to detail is paid to all of the finishes. Every piece had a premium feel down to the feet on the base. The leather is soft and free from imperfections. Aside from a tiny scratch underneath the clear coat on the bottom, the plywood on my chair is gorgeously finished with a perfectly smooth surface. All metal parts and gaskets are smooth and/or polished without imperfections. I looked at manufacturing videos from both Herman Miller and CurverK, and they are both very similar. It is clear that care is taken in CurverK’s manufacturing process with much of it being produced by hand. I cannot recommend this chair any more highly. It is the most comfortable chair I have ever been in, and it gives the added satisfaction of sitting in a work of art. If you have been shopping around for an Eames chair like I was, this is the one! （SKU：ckty307）

I am extremely impressed with the quality , comfort, and value of my recently purchased Eames chair and have already recommended your chair and company to several friends. My son had recently purchased an original chair for over $6000 and both chairs are very similar in appearance and comfort. Additionally, my son waited over two months for delivery whereas I received your chair in about two weeks. I should also mention that even though your chair had to be assembled, the process was very easy and everything fit perfectly.

Assembly was fairly easy but at a point, you will need a second pair of hands to hold while attaching the back of the chair. I like the comfort of the chair. Wish there was a headrest. Very elegant and functional chair!

Top grain leather indeed! Very comfortable and great price. Everything looks good only that it comes in two pieces, not one. So I have to double wait. The first part has arrived and the second was scheduled to arrive in 2-3 days' time and it did. I’ve assembled it all and I would like to think that I’ve made a good investment. A great investment in my relaxation. I always hear people tap Yap about how great the Eames chair is, now I have one(a replica) I’ll love to see how long it lasts.

I love art and aesthetics so I appreciate a beautiful handmade job when I see it, but his us why ice always admired the original. I must say this one surpassed my expectations. This version fits my height, unlike many recliners. It is well constructed, the material not only feels great, it looks great and it’s comfortable. The issue with assembly arose when it was time to bolt the back on. But with a little help, I was able to screw it in. It’s a great piece of furniture! It’s still real leather and it’s beautiful. I’m happy with the purchase. COMFORTABLE!!

Installation was pretty straightforward, well except for the arms, I’m not so sure why that one gave me a tough time. It took me about 6 hours. It is super comfy and I get so many compliments when people visit because of the way it just blends. Just follow the YOUTUBE video and you’ll find that assembly is easy! It’s not so low to the ground which is great because I have long legs. I worry a lot about things getting damaged or broken during shipping but pheeeewww! This packaging was superb, well protected, soon as I saw it my worries vanished, there’s no way any part is getting bruised with all that packaging.
Worthy of mention is the fact shipping process, 4 days to get to me, it’s unbelievable, if the chair wasn’t here already.
