The attention to detail and finish quality is stellar. The aluminum castings are flawless as is the polishing of the upper surfaces of the base. The wooden (palisander) laminates are laser perfect around the edges. The leather is magnificent and would not be out of place in the interior of a Rolls Royce. The chair firmness is absolutely perfect and everyone who has been in the chair commented it was one of the most comfortable chairs the have experienced. This chair should last a lifetime and age beautifully.
Delivery was earlier than I was expecting.
Now I am very experienced in assembling products. This is a two-person operation. Watch YouTube videos and take your time. The assembly instructions and packing of the required hardware is absolutely some of the best I have ever seen. A very nice snap ring pliers is even included to attach the locking ring after setting the chair in the base. This shows extreme pride in every little detail from the manufacturer.
Lastly, this is a real review and not solicited with any incentive other than I am absolutely thrilled with the product.

Here’s why: This chair is gorgeous! The leather, the wood! All spot on. I know the real EAMES pretty well, but haven’t touched or seen a real one in a minute or two. Only a couple days after our CurverK arrived, we went to a huge mid-century sale. I knew that EAMES would be represented there - ALL VINTAGE! Anyway, after knowing the quality of my Curver; I was pleased to have ZERO second thoughts about reproduction versus the original. The leather quality (and all other aspects) on the CurverK is sooo much better in my opinion. I will surely come back for everything that CurverK offers now that i took the plunge and found out first hand!
Also, excellent customer service. The person I dealt with contacted me and suggested the table I bought might not match and persuaded me to select a different color.

I've wanted an Eames chair most of my adult life, but the original Herman Miller version – now nearly $10,000 at Design Within Reach – was out of my budget. I ordered the A+ Taller Ultra Premium Version Imus lounge chair in Palisander and black leather. It arrived in less than a week. I went with CurverK because of all the great reviews. I'll add mine to the list. The chair is simply outstanding. I'm 6' and the taller version was the right choice. The fit and finish is indistinguishable from the original. The wood veneer and the leather are very high quality. The assembly instructions were clear and concise. The video also helped. Took me about 90 minutes with only a little help from my wife attaching the seat back to the seat. It looks and feels so good in my home, I wish I'd ordered it sooner. Don't wait any longer. Buy this chair.
The chair was simple to unpack and build alone. Materials are great, exactly as advertised, no funny business. It's durable and it should be easy to maintain; I think this is going to last me a very long time. It looks visually good from every angle. I had no problems, no imperfections, no marks. I don't know if cheaper replica chairs are anywhere near as good as this, or if this chair is as good as the original it replicates, but I can forget about all of that because this chair is just obviously good and there's no need for comparison.
If you are considering your options of which chair to get, this is a great one. No regrets here.
Just a week before ordering, I visited a Herman Miller store so I could compare the two side by side. This version looks so close to the Eames chair that I honestly can’t tell the difference. The leather feels and smells great, and I’ve already logged hours reading and writing in it. Hands down, my favorite furniture purchase of the last five years.
